The Service

SpareNumber provides you with a virtual phone number that you can use to make and receive voice calls and send and receive SMS messages without disclosing your real phone number. The Service is intended for personal, lawful communication purposes.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance of any significant changes, but we are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

Eligibility

To use SpareNumber, you must be at least 16 years old. If you are between 16 and 18, you confirm that you have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

The Service is not available in jurisdictions where it is prohibited by law. It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of SpareNumber complies with all laws applicable in your location.

Account Registration

To access most features of SpareNumber, you will need to create an account. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for keeping your account details up to date.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect that your account has been accessed without your authorization, you must notify us immediately at support@sparenumber.in.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information, violate these Terms, or have been inactive for an extended period.

Virtual Numbers

When you sign up, you will be assigned or allowed to select a virtual phone number from available inventory. Virtual numbers are licensed to you for use within the Service and remain the property of the underlying telecom carrier. You do not own the number.

Numbers are subject to availability and may vary by region. We do not guarantee that a specific number, area code, or country will be available at any given time.

If your subscription lapses or your account is terminated, your virtual number may be released and reassigned to another user. We are not responsible for any loss of messages, calls, or data that results from losing access to a number.

Subscriptions & Payments

SpareNumber offers paid plans and credit-based usage. By purchasing a plan or credits, you agree to pay all applicable fees at the rates displayed at the time of purchase. All prices are shown in the currency relevant to your region and may include applicable taxes.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or through the app store where you downloaded the app.

Payments are processed securely through a third-party payment provider. We do not store your full payment card details. All transactions are subject to the terms of our payment provider.

Credits purchased within the app are non-transferable and have no cash value. Unused credits do not carry over after account termination unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

Acceptable Use

SpareNumber is built to support private, legitimate communication. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the Service.

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Using the Service for harassment, threats, intimidation, or stalking of any individual
• Sending unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or automated marketing communications
• Engaging in robocalling, auto-dialing, or any form of mass or automated calling
• Impersonating another person, organization, or emergency service
• Using the Service to commit or facilitate fraud, scams, or phishing
• Transmitting content that is unlawful, abusive, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with any part of the Service
• Using the Service in a way that could damage, overload, or impair our infrastructure
• Reselling, sublicensing, or commercially redistributing the Service without our written consent
• Using the Service to violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation

We actively monitor for abuse and reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these restrictions, without prior notice and without refund.

Emergency Services

SpareNumber is a voice-over-internet and virtual number service and is not a replacement for your regular phone service. The Service may not support calls to emergency services such as 911, 999, 112, or their equivalents in your country.

You should always have an alternative means of contacting emergency services. We are not liable for any failure or inability to reach emergency services through the SpareNumber app.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, design, code, trademarks, and materials within SpareNumber are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of our intellectual property to you.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on your personal device solely for the purposes described in these Terms. This license does not permit you to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on any part of the Service.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you share with us about the Service may be used by us freely and without any obligation to you.

Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. How we collect, use, and protect your information is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using SpareNumber, you also agree to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers for functions such as call and SMS routing, payment processing, push notifications, and cloud infrastructure. These providers operate independently and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

The app may also contain links to external websites or services. We do not control those third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Accessing them is at your own risk.

Disclaimers

SpareNumberis provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, availability, or fitness of the Service for any particular purpose.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from loss, corruption, or security breaches. Call quality, message delivery speed, and number availability may vary based on network conditions, carrier availability, and other factors outside our control.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, whether statutory, express, or implied.

Limitation of Liability

In conjunction with the Disclaimer of Warranties above, you expressly understand and agree that any claim against us shall be limited to the amount you paid, if any, for use of the Service. SpareNumber will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary loss or damages which may be incurred by you as a result of using the Service, or as a result of any changes, data loss or corruption, cancellation, loss of access, missed communications, or downtime, to the full extent that applicable limitation of liability laws apply.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SpareNumber and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of a third party.

Termination

You may stop using SpareNumber and delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon account deletion, your virtual number will be released and your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or if we are required to do so by law. In the event of termination for cause, we are under no obligation to provide a refund.

Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will remain in effect after your account is closed.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Gujarat, India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gujarat, India.

Before initiating any formal dispute, we encourage you to contact us directly at support@sparenumber.in so that we can try to resolve the matter amicably.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. If we make a material change, we will notify you through an in-app notice or by email at least 7 days before the change takes effect. The updated Terms will always be accessible within the app and on our website.

If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you should stop using the Service and delete your account before the changes take effect. Continued use of SpareNumber after the effective date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
